Dr. Kevin Hiscock is the founder of Pathfinders Pastoral Care Ministries, Inc., a not-for-profit Christian counseling, coaching and pastoral care ministry. He is an ordained minister who holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Christian Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary. Prior to being repurposed into the ministry of counseling Dr. Kevin spent over 40 years in medicine. As a licensed physician extender, he holds an MHSc in Health Sciences and a B.S degree in Advanced Radiologic Sciences.

Dr. Kevin was ordained as a minister of pastoral care in 2019. He has served the church as a team role leader, small group leader, and small group leader mentor/coach. He is licensed by the National Christian Counseling Association as a Clinical Pastoral Counselor with advanced certifications in Integrated Marriage and Family Counseling as well as Cognitive Therapy and Ethics. He is also certified by the International Board of Christian Care as a Master Mental Health Coach with a specialization in Bible Counseling. He was awarded a Masters Diploma in Mental Health Coaching from Light University in 2023.

He is the co-author of the book, The Spirit of Truth: Allowing God’s Word to Transform Your Thoughts, Feelings, and Behaviors. Written with his co-presenter, Dr. David Smuin and published in October 2023, it was ranked the #1 new release in Amazon’s Psychology & Christianity category.

Dr. Kevin has a passion to equip people with Biblically based tools that create wisdom from which emotional healing and spiritual growth may occur. His bride Jeannette partners with him in ministry. Together their passion is to help others heal as they learn God’s purpose for their lives.

 

In their downtime, they enjoy coastal living with their dog, Velvett. They love to have family and friends visit and enjoy the company of their neighbors in the beautiful community they’re blessed to live in.
